leave a fallen comrade.", states The Army Warrior Ethos. A set of principles by which Carlisha
lives and a way of life that both defines her and who she aspires to to become. After studying
Communications at Georgia Southern University, she enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Preventive
Medicine Specialist. Her commitment and dedication led to worldly travels, of which allowed for
many interactions with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. She possesses a natural
ability to communicate effectively, efficiently and personably.
Following her Honorable service to the Army, she worked in the private sector, as a Safety
Administrator for Dick Pacific Construction Company (Honolulu, HI) and Commercial Metals
Company (Fort Worth, TX) before joining the Department of Defense. She worked as a General
Schedule (GS) federal employee for the Department of Preventive Medicine in Ft. Hood, TX and
Ft. Bragg, NC. Subsequently, her husband, Gary, retired from active duty Army after 23 years
of service, prompting them to build a home and relocate to Riverview, FL with their dog, Coco.
Carlisha has spent her entire professional career displaying 7 Army Core Values that were
instilled from the beginning: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and
Personal Courage. As a REALTOR she holds herself accountable to the highest
standard. She has earned GRI, MRP, SRES and PSA designations/certifications.
