My passion for real estate was rooted at an early age. Growing up I spent my summers and holidays helping my grandpa fix up and maintain his rental homes. Maybe it was the relationship I built with him or just the mutually beneficial tenant-owner relationships he built his business model around. Whatever the reason, somewhere along the way I developed an instinctual desire to not only do well for myself but to above all else, make everything I work on a little better than it was before it crossed my path. I grew up in Spokane where I attended Mead Senior High School and later went on to play soccer at Spokane Falls Community College before transferring to Washington State University. There, I majored in general studies with concentrations in business and economics.

Buyer reviewMy wife and I recently purchased our first home! After meeting with several other realtors, we decided on using Jay based on his experience, online reviews, and flexible schedule. Since the housing market was so hot this summer, we quickly learned that if there was a house you wanted to see, you needed to tour it the same day or day after it was posted. My wife and I both work M-F 9-5, so Jay's flexibility in his schedule was necessary to view houses quickly. We were able to tour houses after work, on weekends, during lunch breaks ect. Being our first home, we didn't know exactly what we wanted until we started touring multiple houses. Jay was patient and understanding throughout the entire process. When it came down to the perfect house, Jay was able to get us in a day before it came on the market, which gave us an advantage when putting in our offer. He was also great in walking us through the steps for first time home buyers. Jay was an excellent part in our home buying experience and we would recommend him to friends and family.

He is very hard working, has great followup, is forthright and we do feel does great research and tracks down things we have requested in a timely manner. He advocates for us as the client but feel he gives us balanced feedback and review of options, allowing us to make more informed and measured decisions. And probably the most refreshing , he's a really honest professional in an industry that often is not known for that showing up in every transaction. Would highly recommend Jay.
