Emily moved to Myrtle Beach and started calling it home in 2015 although she has been coming down to visit and vacation here since she can remember. She grew up in south-central Pennsylvania where she attended college and obtained a degree in dental hygiene and worked as a dental hygienist for over 10 years in Pennsylvania, Northern Virginia, and here in South Carolina. That is where she truly found the love of caring for and helping people. Then, In 2020 Covid hit, and the medical world became very difficult. So, She pursued her life-long dream in real estate and joined Century 21 Boling. She enjoys talking and connecting to her clients and helping them find their dream homes. She is married to a lieutenant for the Horry County Fire Department and has a daughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, the beach, and reading a good book. When you need a loyal professional on your side whether you are buying, selling, or relocating, she will be ready to answer your call!

Emily was there every step of the way always kept us informed, called us right back, visited the house every 2 weeks to let us know the progress. We could list many more things Emily did and offered. We our so happy with our new home and we felt lucky to have Emily as our realtor. Emily went above and beyond to make this happen she is a great asset to Century 21. Seller reviewThe sale of our condo was not an easy one for Emily…we threw a lot at her with little to no time for her to prepare…Emily took it, ran with it and got it done without hesitation. Not only did she get it Sold, she did it within days and got us an offer over our asking price. Being a former Realtor, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home, Emily is knowledgeable, pro active and a hard worker…I have no doubt she would do an amazing job for you too!

Seller reviewI think I made that clear in other statements. However, Emily Shelton did an excellent job in all aspects of the sale. Her communication skills and knowledge of the job were outstanding. I was kept aware of all issues immediately. I would strongly suggest her to other potential clients.

Buyer reviewEmily had to go above and beyond due to other issues that were out of her hands. *The sellers agent misread and couldn't comprehend my financial advisors letter stating the value of our account which proved we could pay cash. Emily had to work with him and got him to understand we were more than capable of paying cash for the condo. We were ready to walk away from that condo but Emily worked it out. *After closing our property continued to show as 'Pending' for 5 days after. I contacted Emily with my concern and she found that someone on the sellers end dropped the ball. Emily provided what she had and asked that they get it updated right away which they did. *Unfortunately, the sale price was not entered correctly on the mls listing. Again Emily reached out to the people who took another week to get it right. The incompetence on the seller's agents part was so frustrating so we are thankful we had Emily helping us.
