I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education, a Master's degree from Troy University, and an Administrative degree from Auburn University Montgomery. After 25 years as a teacher, administrator, and Principal, I retired just long enough to study and acquire a Real Estate license. My reasoning for choosing Real Estate as a second career was to fulfill a love for interior, landscape, and architectural design. I realized that I could combine my design passion with Real Estate and be effective in the Real Estate profession. I believe my calling in life is to educate and to combine that calling with my passion for interior decorating, landscaping, and architectural design, I can effectively help others make the best choices in choosing or selling their home. With education as my lifetime experience and Real Estate as my present profession, my motto states: "Let Bert do your homework and you'll get it right!"

Buyer reviewI have worked with other highly noteworthy realtors but Ms Bert Owens definitely sticks out!! She listened earnestly to all of my wants and heeded to my every request each time. I can be a hard person to please but she accomplished this each time. She showed up when previous realtors were too busy to do so and by doing so she assisted me in finding my first home in Alabama. She nearly helped me purchase a second home and was so understanding when I changed my mind. Now we are currently working on my third home. I highly recommend Bert Owens to all serious home hunters in Montgomery!
