    Today - National “Inspire Your Heart With Art" Day

    Did you know that the Grand Strand has a thriving and exciting arts community? From visual arts to music, live theater, dance and more, there is something for everyone. Join us in celebrating National Inspire Your Heart with Art Day and check out some of the current and upcoming exhibits and events in our local art scene.

    January 30, 2018: Pawleys Island Festival of Art and Music presents renowned cellist, Zuill Bailey. This special evening of beautiful music will be at The Abbey at Pawleys Island.

    January 26, 2018 through February 4, 2018: The 14th Annual French Film Festival, exploring the best of the best in French cinema. Catch this film series at the Waccamaw Neck Library in Pawleys Island.

    Now through February 15, 2018: Coastal Carolina University Faculty Triennial featuring stunning artwork from the CCU faculty from the Department of Visual Arts at the Bryan Art Gallery. This special showcase of faculty art takes place once every three years, so you won’t want to miss it!

    February 1, 2018 through February 18, 2018: Stage Left Theater presents Same Time, Next Year – an award-winning play by Brenard Slade. This production featuring local performers will be at Stage Left Theater on DeVille Street in The Market Common.

    February 17, 2018: A special fundraising performance of Bullets Over Broadway will be at the Coastal Carolina University Wheelwright Auditorium. Proceeds from this benefit will help provide scholarship opportunities in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. You’ll not only enjoy a stellar performance but also give back to the university by helping fund the dreams of current and future students.

    Now through April 22, 2018: The Art Museum of Myrtle Beach hosts the special exhibit Steven Bleicher: The Kings Highway. While the Kings Highway technically runs from Maine through Florida, Bleicher’s exhibition focuses on the southern portion of the historic highway, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
