As a native Virginian, I love this state and this area. I have spent most of my life right here and have a passion for the people and this city. My goal as your Realtor is to find you the perfect fit for your needs and to advocate for you throughout the process. I take pride in my work and always strive to do whatever I can for my clients.
I attended Mary Washington College and then taught school in Prince William County for two years. I married and moved to New York with my husband where I had two jobs. I worked as a test kitchen home economist for four years, and my husband and I managed a group home for Catholic charities as the surrogate parents to nine adolescent boys for a year. It during this year that my oldest child was born.
We moved back to Virginia, and I earned my real estate license and worked as a Realtor in Culpeper for two years. When we moved back to the Colonial Heights area, I worked first in Petersburg and then in Colonial Heights. I found my final realty home at Century 21 Colonial Realty on the Boulevard. I had pursued my broker's license and became an assistant broker first, bought into the company with Bobby Fisher and Jim Wilkinson, and then when Jim retired, I became the principal broker and co-owner of Century 21 Colonial Realty. Since Bobby's passed in the spring of 2020, I am now the only principal broker and owner of Century 21 Colonial Realty.
When I am not busy working, which is rare to be sure, I enjoy spending time with my two children, their spouses, and my five grandchildren. I also enjoy spending time at the river and catching up with good friends.
