Seller reviewMotivated, hard-working, professional, friendly, energetic, timely, sincere, etc. There are so many positive words to describe my experience with Mary. I will admit that I was hesitant to use a realtor during a "Seller's market," thinking I could sell on my own, but Mary earned every penny. She is prompt to respond to texts, and is extremely knowledgeable. She was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend her to anyone that's is in the market to buy/sell a house. Selling a house can be stressful, but Mary made it a very positive experience. Thank you, Mary!!!

Buyer reviewMary worked to sell my house 8 years ago, and it was never a question that I would reach out to her to purchase a home this time around. She worked tirelessly for me back then in a housing market that was tough, and in a post-divorce situation that was already challenging and too-far gone when she signed on to help me. That home, unfortunately, ended up going to short sale and eventual foreclosure. She never made me feel that her time with me or on my file was limited due to what I knew would be a small return, if any on her end. She ended up netting zero commission on that whole deal, so I was thrilled to be able to have her represent me now, 8 years later, and to know that she was compensated for the tremendous amount of work that she does. I don't think she ever sleeps! She listened to me, and found me EXACTLY the house I needed and wanted, and was my advocate all the way to the closing table. Mary Barakat's service is second to none. Everything was smooth and easy...and Mary knew before the seller's agent that the asking price was over what would appraise. She had us all prepared for what would end up being the reality on the appraisal report!!! She KNOWS this area!
