Buyer reviewMy wife and I were brand new to Northern Virginia and Jacque helped us navigate a new, complicated housing market to find a great home. We were consistently impressed by Jacque's responsiveness, thoroughness, and expertise. She's a true professional. We are excited to recommend her to our friends and family!

Seller reviewI can't say enough good things about Jacque. The sale of my house was a difficult one due to the condition. For one thing it wasn't updated like most people expect. And things picked this time to break down one after another! She went above and helped me in so many ways to get through it all. I'm truly grateful I used her and would never use anyone else in the future.

Seller reviewJacque Balcells and Century 21 New Millennium should be very, very proud of this sale. If I had to sum up her performance in one word, that word would be "virtuosic". Getting full asking price in off-peak season during this challenging buyer's market is no easy task. While the property we sold is in a desirable location, its small back yard, somewhat dated interior, and other minor flaws meant that it was far from a slam dunk. In addition, I'll admit that we weren't the easiest clients. My wife and I had zero experience selling a home so we were a bit overwhelmed and repeatedly asked a lot of rookie questions. Since this was my Mom's house and we live 20 miles away, we had limited details regarding improvement/repair history, etc. and couldn't always perform various on site pre-sale tasks in a timely manner. Jacque showed true professionalism in managing our disappointment after the first contract fell through and backed that optimism up by securing another contract at full asking price just a few days later. After that, the buyer's agent asked for a rather exorbitant amount for repair credits to address minor problems identified in the home inspection. Jacque called their bluff and negotiated the credits down to a fraction of what they originally requested and used her contacts to complete the repair jobs at a reasonable cost. She and the settlement rep graciously came to my Mom's assisted living facility and guided her through the completion of the paperwork. I even got a wonderful bottle of bourbon as a thank you gift…that definitely put a smile on my face! I've known Jacque for many years but I've also had plenty of negative experiences doing business with personal acquaintances so our friendship isn't a factor in this review and I assure you that everything I've said here is true and fully deserved. From where I sit, this was nothing short of a real estate masterclass in every aspect.

Buyer reviewJacqueline Balcells was so helpful during our home buying journey in such a difficult market. She knows so much about the area and was able to show us all new parts of town that we never knew about. During the offer process she took the time to walk us through each step, tell us what was competitive in the market and help us form the best offer we could. She also did a lot of leg work in reaching out to the sellers realtor and getting as much information as possible. We would definitely recommend Jacque to our family and friends!

Buyer reviewA friend referred Jacque to us about 15 years ago and we have only worked with her ever since. She helped us find and secure our last 3 rentals and now our first purchase. Jacque went above and beyond to walk us through every step of the process and made sure we were comfortable with each and every decision along the way. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and flexible. We could not have had a more perfect experience buying our first home!
