When we moved to Northern Virginia, 6 years ago, John helped us find our rental property. John also helped us buy our first home and then sell our home. We've always enjoyed working with John. He's thorough, patient, professional, trustworthy, and dependable! I highly recommend using John for selling our buying a home - he's an advocate for his clients. It can be hard to find a realtor, who is honest and has true integrity but with John, you know he's always being honest.

John Bentz was a helpful and friendly neighbor - I was impressed with his honesty while on the community HOA and I knew he would represent us properly and fairly! HE DID! John is an amazing man - a friend before/during/after the sale. Everything was explained - there were no surprises and there was lots of suggestions to get us ready for each step in the sale process. John always had useful/effective solutions to address each of the home inspection issues. Even after the sale John was there helping us with our move (because the closing came so quickly). John Bentz deserves an award for his patience and good humor!

John was very patient, understanding, and cared more about my interests than just making a sale. He always had good advise, went through a thorough assessments of the pros and cons together on each property. He had tons of knowledge about the area. He made the closing as smoothly as possible and made sure I got the best for my money. He has a lot of experience and knowledge about houses that he helped understand the true value of the property, what to look for etc. I enjoyed working with John and very glad I got him!

John truly was excellent in all categories. He would respond to any questions we had almost immediately, would always be available to talk on the phone, and made us feel heard and understood. He explained processes that had difficult terminology in great detail. We never felt in the dark during this process. John was extremely helpful in all areas of being first time home buyers. He went out of his way to help in any way he could and it was greatly appreciated.

John Bentz is the first broker we have worked with as he assisted us in buying our first home. Overall, working with John was a very positive experience. Before looking for a house, he met with us and outlined his process for searching for a home. He also took time to answer our questions and help us formulate a better understanding of what we were looking for. Both of these things greatly helped us as we proceeded further along in buying a home. We were very active in searching for listings, so many of the leads we followed were self-generated. However, John was always well prepared when we visited each home and facilitated our requests in a very timely fashion. One of the best things John did for us as new home buyers is challenge our thinking when examining a house. By pointing out the disadvantages or playing devil's advocate, he helped us better understand what we truly wanted from our purchase. This also made us feel like he was on our team rather than interested only in a sale. John's best moment in this process came during the negotiation. The eventual seller flatly rejected our first offer and we decided to move on to new listings. Still, John called the seller and communicated our interest in the property while not moving far from our original offer. His persistence brought the seller back to the deal and led to the eventual sale at terms we wanted. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience working with John. He is thoughtful, diligent, and highly responsive. John's energy and focus on the task was supremely beneficial for us as first time homebuyers. We will definitely be recommending John to our friends and would recommend him to others as well.
