Personal Profile

Born and raised in Argentina, Ariel earned Education and Theology degrees and became a United Methodist minister. He subsequently moved to the United States on a doctoral scholarship and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Spanish Language and Literature. He taught in Dallas and New York City and led multi-cultural churches in Texas, New York, and Connecticut. He retired as senior pastor of First United Methodist Church in Greenwich, CT, and shortly after he established his own translation business. Currently he lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where he continues translation work. His two daughters, both practicing attorneys, and their families live in Northern Virginia. He enjoys traveling, photography, and soccer, a passion that both his grandson (15) and his granddaughter (8) seem to have inherited.

Managing and administering church properties, including parochial schools, for many years, exposed him to the critical role real estate, and specifically housing, plays in our daily lives. Specially in the lives of many people in our communities that feel hindered from pursuing real estate dreams due to language or cultural barriers. And since it is never too late in life, now he wishes to invest both his service-oriented approach to human relations, and his skills, in a field as challenging as rewarding as this.
