Steve Makranczy began his Real Estate carer as an investor in 2004. Since then he has changed his focus to helping people to buy and sell Real Estate. After making the career change to full time Realtor in 2008, Steve won the "Rookie of the Year" award for the top selling new agent in 2009. Steve has also been recognized every year for his customer service and sales volume. Steve specializes in home sales in Leesburg, Ashburn, and Reston but has a good knowledge of the entire Northern Virginia area. He grew up in Vienna and has lived in the area for 30 years. When Steve is not selling Real Estate, he stays active as a triathlete, runner and cyclist. He owns Transition Triathlon where he helps his wife, Alex, when time allows. Steve also enjoys, fishing, skiing and spending time with his dogs.

Always available and went above and beyond expectations in helping me sell my home, especially after I moved out of the area. Was always available to meet with home repairmen which involved getting multiple estimates and helping me make decisions about what to repair and how to get jobs done. Provided an excellent painter to get the job done quickly.

Buyer reviewSteve was a rock star during the process for Christina and I purchasing our first home. He felt more like a home buying mentor than a typical realtor. I never felt like he was trying to get a quick sale out of us. With Steve, we never felt any pressure to make a move on a house. In fact, he made it a priority to make sure we knew every detail of every thing we were getting into. He has such an array of general knowledge that home buyers don't even think about, and does a great job making sure you are aware of all the fine print. Steve responds to e-mails, texts, and phone calls quickly, and always seemed to have the answer or know exactly where to find the answer for our concerns. At one point, during our final walkthrough, I asked him if we were his only clients at the time because he just made us feel like during the entire process we were his number one priority.
