My husband and I have visited the Coeur d'Alene / Sandpoint area many times thru the years and loved the area. When he decided to take early retirement to avoid getting the jab, we chose North Idaho for various reasons. We were the general contractors on our last two homes, so we kind of knew what we were looking for- beautiful and level. We didn't want to be too remote - but didn't want it too peopley either.
