Personal Profile
I have been a licensed REALTOR® in Rochester, MI since March, 1978. I am one of the top producers in an office of 50 realtors. I currently manage the office and I also help train new agents.
I am well known in the community and active in a number of community organizations. I am a former member of the Rochester Rotary Club, the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the Waterford Church of Christ. I am an alumnus of Michigan Christian College (now Rochester College), Oakland University and Leadership Greater Rochester. I have served on the Advisory Boards of the OPC and the Chamber of Commerce.
I have been married to Kim for 43 years. We have two grown children and four grandchildren. We are very active in our church where I serve as an Elder. I enjoy playing golf, hiking and traveling. My favorite pastime is going on adventures with my grandchildren.
I am a real people person and I love working in the real estate business.

Seller reviewDon laid out a detailed plan for establishing the selling and listing price, a timeline for the process, and an accurate prediction of the outcome. He provided timely communication at all the events from listing to handing over the keys. Good communication , fair and trustworthy. Don went above and beyond to help us with the prep of the house for the photos and open house. His photographer did a great job on the listing photos and video.

Don has always been very thorough, kind, patient and professional and has ensured we receive top dollar for the two houses we've sold since 2019. His communication throughout the process is spot on, and he never left us with any unanswered questions. He knows the market and goes all out to get the house sold. The open house he held the day this most recent one went on the market is what sold the house! The offers on both of our houses have come within a week of the listing going live. We were very impressed with how he handled his sellers, as opposed to the agent we currently had working for us. She did absolutely nothing. We knew we wanted Don to do for us what he had done for his other sellers. There was no comparison between him and our old agent. I would redommend him to anyone. Very happy with what he did for us.

Buyer reviewDon Robinson is very knowledgeable with loads of experience, which, we as first time home buyers relied heavy upon in our home buying process. He was available when we needed him. He was prompt and concise in his responses and gave us great advise. He walked us through the whole process and took the time to explain every step. He coached us on various aspects of a house - condition, cost of repairs, price etc., during our walkthroughs. He was also very patient and kind in answering the very many questions we threw at him. Don is very approachable and trustworthy and I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.
