    A family Thanksgiving favorite!

    My Grandma Rose used to make this at Thanksgiving, and it's good for all kinds of festive meals. Every year, my sisters and I email each other for the recipe, and now that I've found it (again!), I'd like to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It comes from a very special lady!

    GRANDMA ROSE'S CRANBERRY JELLO MOLD

    2 pkg. (4-serving size each) or 1 pkg. (8-serving size) black cherry Jello

    1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce

    1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained

    2/3 cup chopped walnuts

     

    • Boil 2 cups water to boil; remove from heat. Add Jello; stir at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
    • Add cranberry sauce; stir until well blended. (Due to the presence of whole berries in the
    • cranberry  sauce, the gelatin mixture will not be smooth.)
    • Stir in pineapple with juice and walnuts; stir gently until well blended.
    • Pour into medium serving bowl. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
    • Garnish and serve.
    • Store leftovers in refrigerator.
