I have been a Real Estate Professional for over 30 years. During that time I have developed the skills and experience necessary to provide buyers and sellers with a positive experience and successful transaction. I feel that it is important to strive for excellence in my profession and I do this by keeping current with continual education and technology training. I hold the designation of GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and Certified Buyer's Representative.
When I'm not selling Real Estate, I am an avid reader, walker, gardener and hospitality planner. I am a Literacy Volunteer for East Bay Literacy Volunteers and am a member of the Tiverton Garden Club.

She did a first class job helping us prepare our home for sale, the pricing, preparing the listing and showing our property at a time when interest rates were rising and buyers for homes in our price range were scarce. Barbara was always available, professional, honest and proactive. She got our asking price and found us exactly what we were looking for in a new home, all the while in a someway difficult market.

After the purchase and sales agreement was signed, unexpected issues posed by a probate court delayed sale of the property by the previous occupants children. Barbara introduced all parties to an excellent attorney who knew exactly what to do and worked closely with the seller, the buyer and Barbara to rapidly resolve these issues and close the sale. I would highly recommend Barbara Hanaway to anyone looking for property in Tiverton Rhode Island. Barbara is a wealth of information and even though we have moved into the property ,she is always available to provide us with excellent referrals ranging from painters and contractors to the best restaurants in the area.
