This 178 acre parcel, being a portion of Grant 1580 made to Kaohimaunu, is located on the Makai side the Mamalahoa Highway, is being offered as an individual lot, having previously been part of the HueHue Ranch holdings, with those holdings having been purchased in 1991 by Sokan for construction of the Makalei Golf Course. The zoning for the property is a combination of A-1a (one lot at 43, 560 square feet) with 30 lots shown as available on the parcel and A-500a, meaning one lot per 500 acres, or the remainder of the parcel of 148 acres being one large lot with no further subdivision zoning. Any utilization of the zoning for the 30 lots via subdivision would require coordination with the County of Hawaii as to utilities and road connection.
