Personal Profile

I have been successfully operating as a licensed Realtor in California since June of 2001 and currently live in Arroyo Grande.

Prior to associating with Century 21 Hometown Realty, I was a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for over 15 years specializing in distressed and bank owned (REO) properties, probate, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, luxury leasing and estate planning. I also worked within the telecommunications industry prior to real estate, starting as a territory manager for a nationwide company before rising to regional sales manager and eventually Vice President of Sales Training. I have a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills. I also have an associate degree in pre-law from Marymount Palos Verdes College.

I'm a California native, born at Vandenberg AFB in Lompoc, Calif. where my father, a officer in the U.S. Air Force, was stationed in the early 1960's. I currently reside in Arroyo Grande, CA and my son Samuel attends Cuesta College with the intention of transferring to Cal Poly in 2021. I have been an active volunteer most of my adult life, starting out as an assistant coach in AYSO soccer when I was 19. I'm also an accomplished sales trainer having ascended to Regional VP of Sales Training in the wireless industry prior to my real estate career.

"Helping others is in my blood either as a volunteer, sales trainer, coach or as a father, family life, being a good dad and raising my kids to become responsible and upright adults is extremely important to me."

I have coached youth athletics for more than three decades and have volunteered over the last 35 years with several noteworthy non-profit organizations, including Los Angeles County's G.A.P. (Gang Alternative Program), the Boys and Girls Club of America, Habitat for Humanity and the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). I currently volunteer for Habitat for Humanity's San Luis Obispo chapter.

I bring valued counsel to my clients and I'm a seasoned and successful negotiator with a track record of success in residential real estate sales. • Seller review
He worked with a very difficult property manager at the Mobile Home Park and remained professional even though she was not. She blocked one perspective cient and moved at a snails pace on the buyer who finallybought it. It was not an easy deal and Chris remained cool through the whole ordeal and managed o get the property sold.
