John Miglino stood by us throughout the sale of our house. It is an older home which could have benefitted from a lot of updating. He guided us toward things that were absolutely necessary and stayed with us through a long sales period. He skillfully guided us through the process of selecting the best offer and the sale closed in less than a month from acceptance.

My wife and I were in a social setting with John and casually brought up we were starting to look for homes in the area. He told us he was a broker and about the area, the current market and a pretty broad set of related topics he seemed to have good personal experience with. We told him we were first time buyers and so he used language appropriate to us so we sat down and told him what we were looking for and agreed to start looking together. John immediately honed in on just the type of homes and areas we were interested in. I don't think he ever took us to any homes that didn't really fit our criteria. The market was pretty weird this year and we had several places snatched out from under us by people paying way above asking price and in cash. Despite this I consider our experience as first time home buyers to have been very smooth thanks to John and our loan officer (who both worked well together). John was ALWAYS available to take us to any property even on very short notice and to random and remote areas at times without so much as a complaint or grumble. He also helped us understand the nuances of negotiations, contingencies, etc so we felt like we knew what was going on during any given phase. We would work with John again and are certainly recommending him to anyone we know who is looking for a broker in the area.

Handled a complicated transaction requiring involvement of three different lenders, two changes in closing dates and an appraisal transfer in a manner that earned the respect of all the professionals involved in our transaction. Was personally invested in our success; in addition to always being in the right place at the right time, made the extra effort to check in with us to make sure we were maintaining a positive frame of mind, were fully informed. He didn't have to take the extra time to offer us reassurance that we were on schedule to close on the property, but he did and those efforts were greatly appreciated.

I had listed with the Novak Group at Keller Williams and was very dissatisfied with their representation. A friend recommended John and so I asked him to take over from Novak. I liked that he came with a personal recommendation, that he lives locally, that he doesn't handle numerous accounts at once and focuses on individual clients, and he has been in the mortgage business before becoming a broker. John assumed responsibility for sale of 15893 after it had been listed, photographed and staged by Novak group at Keller Williams. I was not happy with Novak's services and so I purchased their photos (satisfactory), and their contractor's staging (marginal) and, for $2,600 in expenses, we parted ways and I listed with Century 21. John re-listed 15893 and we proceeded to closing smoothly. John explained his marketing strategy. He fielded all inquiries, visited 15893 frequently, and arranged for dismantling of staging, repairs requested by purchaser, and liaised with title company. John is very experienced and of the highest integrity and I felt confident and well represented every step of the process. Since I had moved to another city, I relied almost entirely on John to handle our listing and be available 24/7. I relied heavily on John's business advice and felt confident in doing so since he had been recommended by a close family friend. It is easy to work with John, as he listens, pays attention to detail, and provides valuable feedback. I felt that John looked after my interests at all times.
