I graduated and received a Juris Doctor degree from the Western New England School of Law in 2018. During my time in law school my interests evolved. In the beginning of my third year in law school my husband and I became homeowners and it changed a lot in our lives. As a first time home buyer I was excited dealing with every part of the transaction from house hunting to negotiating and more all the way through to the closing.
Initially my background in education drew me to an internship where I assisted children, families and immigrants. While studying law I enjoyed learning about contracts, negotiation, mediation, real estate and property laws.
Through my internship experience I realized that I am the type of person who likes assisting other people. And from the home buying process I also learned that I am very passionate about the real estate business. Instead of becoming an attorney I thought becoming a Realtor would be so much fun and wanted to help people find their dream home. Someone told me you only live once and life is short, so do whatever makes you happiest!
I was born and raised in South Korea and speak both English and Korean fluently. I attended Teacher's College in South Korea for two years before coming to the United States. Before moving to Connecticut in 2014 I lived in New York City for eight years. I attended City University of New York where I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology degree and studied law and policy as my minor.
I currently live in Wethersfield with my husband and our cute little dog. Both my husband and I really enjoy living in Wethersfield. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, taking my dog to the park, cooking, running and Zumba. My favorite winter activity is snowboarding so I often go to Vermont ski resorts with friends during the winter season. I also love to travel. I have been to 18 different states including Alaska and 8 different countries; Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, Moscow and even North Korea.
