If I felt I knew how to sell a house I would have sold it myself. But knowing we were first time home sellers we knew a broker was necessary. Allison proved to be far more than necessary. She was invaluable. She met us at our home twice (two different years!) knowing that we weren't yet ready to sell. She gave us options for selling and guided us through the legalities of splitting property without ever knowing if we would decide to sell at all. Although we were slow to sell she never pressured us or made us feel rushed. When we finally decided to sell she walked us through every step of the process. I always felt that the final decision was mine and she only gave her opinion if I asked for it (which was often ). She fielded questions from us regularly and although I know she must be busy we felt like we were her only clients. There was never a sense we were taking up too much of her time. I greatly valued her patience as well as her expertise in guiding us through this process. Allison went above and beyond her duties as our broker. Not only did she answer all our questions and guide us through this process she accepted questions from my dad and aunt as well. When my dad told me she had given him her number I was amazed. We moved out of state right before the sale and she began working with my extended family in addition to myself and my husband. The amount of patience and professionalism she showed was just unparalleled. We are currently looking to buy in a different state and we are desperate for her recommendation. She has truly spoiled us as a broker and I'm not sure the next one can meet the high bar she has set. Something else that impressed me greatly was how knowledgeable Allison was about the real estate market. She knew how to get a house to sell and she knew the price to put it at. Our house received an offer in under 3 days and when that offer fell through (on their end not ours) we received another offer within 24 hours. I give credit for this to Allison. We continuously asked her what we needed to do. She told us and we did it. Following her advice never steered us wrong.
