A native of New Orleans, Louisiana. April is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, and received a degree in Finance and real estate in 1992. April has been in the real estate closing and title field since 1985 including being a licensed title insurance agent and Notary Public. In 2006, CENTURY 21 Smith Realty Group was created with one vision that continues to drive the focus today...exceeding client expectations at every opportunity! Buyer reviewMy husband and I knew April S. Smith prior to working with her to purchase our home. My husband sought out April with some home buying questions/suggestions, just to see what she thought of the situation as a whole. April asked us to come into her office and sit down with her and explain what we wanted, the offering price and just to get a general idea of our stand on the home buying process. She basically took us under her wing and 2 months later, we purchased a home. There is 100% no doubt that without April, we would not be in the place we are today. Her knowledge and expertise in her job is outstanding. She knew exactly what to do, explained EVERY bit of the process to us, and was in our corner every step of the way. This was the first time I have ever purchased a home and I was scared to death. I could not imagine doing this without April. She was a crucial asset to us. We can never love or thank her enough!

Seller reviewApril and her staff went beyond what was expected to properly market the sale of what was estate property so that not only was it sold but sold in a manner that truly honored the property itself. From the pictures that represented my mothers flair for unique settings, furniture, and overall look to the manner in which the property was looked after during showings and so forth. It truly was displayed and presented in a way that honored the legacy of my parents and my childhood home. Accordingly, it attracted a buyer that will continue to care for a home that is nearly 125 years old and only been lived in by 3 families prior to this sale.
