Carey was excellent- she kept us informed every step of the way. She responded back to our messages right away. It was very important to have someone who was available and understood what we were looking for and understood our needs. She helped us move into our dream home.

My husband and I had worked with a different realtor from September '19-March '20. We had looked at more than 20 homes and had been under contract 3 times. Unfortunately, due to our unique loan type, each sale fell through. We were at our wits end and beyond disappointed. It didn't seem like our realtor was willing to take the time to learn about our loan type. Out of sheer frustration, I confided in a friend who suggested I reach out to Carey Smith. When I called her the first time, we had a casual discussion. There was no pressure from her to show us homes; she didn't even mention it. I gave our previous realtor one last chance and again, we lost out on a great property. I called Carey a few weeks later and explained our situation. She was upfront that she had not had any previous experience with our loan type, but was willing to put in the work to learn. About 1 month after I had reconnected with her, we were under contract on our DREAM HOME! Due to the pandemic, there were a considerable amount of uncertainties. Fortunately, we were able to close super quickly given the circumstances! Carey scheduled our well test and provided us with several suggestions for a home inspector. She was also in direct contact with our lender regarding inspection results (USDA required the inspection report to be submitted to our lender) and the required repairs. It could not have been an easier process! When we put in the offer, I received the contract almost immediately. Throughout negotiations, Carey was precise and represented our interests perfectly! We cannot say enough good things about Carey Smith! She always answered our calls/text messages and whenever we had a question, if she didn't know the answer, she found it and got back to us promptly. She took care of EVERYTHING. Our situation as a whole was very unique and complex, so when we finally closed, it was easily our greatest accomplishment. Carey sharing in our excitement made the entire experience that much more glorious. We could feel that she was just as excited for our family as we were! While we are currently in the most perfect home for our family, eventually our children will leave the nest and we will need to downsize. Without question, we will call Carey when it is time to sell our home. Professional, personable, knowledgeable, dedicated, kind, and caring: Carey Smith! While Carey was out of town, another realtor showed us the home we ended up buying. She was excellent, as well! She was happy to help and excited to be showing us the home! She was very kind and helpful! We could not be happier! We have told everyone who will listen about our experience with Carey Smith and Century 21! We are so confident in Carey's performance that we guarantee our friend's/family's satisfaction when referring her!
