We have relocated to North Carolina from Maryland so everything was new and other than our research, unknown. Cherry is very familiar with the area and she was so patient with us discovering New Bern and made us feel completely comfortable. She explained all the important details regarding taxes, utilities, permits, POA's, etc., in the different areas of town. She not only pointed us in the right direction when it came to getting information for these things but would call herself to help get us started. And I have to say, it seemed normal to us that Cherry would return our calls, emails, or texts and consistently communicate with us regarding any updates no matter how large or small. I say it seemed normal until we put a contract in on a property and the listing agent for that property always seemed to be MIA. He took days to get information back to us and just a quick message just to let us know he was working on getting us the information just wasn't done. It was so frustrating! We luckily did not end up buying that property. And it made us realize how extremely lucky we were to have Cherry! She was a pleasure throughout the entire process!

The key thing for me is trust, and I never had to worry about that from the being. We hit it off like we've know each other for a lifetime. Cherry Houston is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and never missed a beat in getting things done timely and expertly. The sale, and transaction went smoothly, and particularly that was important living clear across the country on the west coast.
