Not only do I sell property on Fort Myers Beach, I live here. And I am part of the community. The Chamber of Commerce keeps me busy working at many of The Island events, 4th of July parade, Taste of the Beach,....and on. I'm an active member of the Baptist church. Beach Baptist. Although I'm not Baptist and it's the First Baptist Church. I'm also treasurer of the Fort Myers Beach little league. I did not realize running a nonprofit is like running a small business. And a beach bike has been my best investment. So if you come to Fort Myers Beach and "Won't you be my neighbor?" Selling real estate is the most rewarding job I've had, so far. I worked at Speedway, LLC (a subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Company) for nearly 2 decades. During this period I spent time working in Finance, IT and Operations. This allowed me to understand the convenience store business from building stores to transferring their revenue to Speedway's main account, and the million things inbetween. I also had a chance to work in Equatorial Guinea while at Speedway. It was there I met a couple journeyman who were doing underwater work at the site. I was intrigued, went to school and became a commercial diver. At Triton Diving Services, LLC I worked in underwater construction as a commercial diver. The majority of the time was spent digging trenches in the floor of the Gulf of Mexico. Trenches for pipelines - all pipelines have to be buried due to shrimp nets, commercial and residential fishing,...etc. Unfortunately, you live on a boat, a work boat, not a pleasure boat. And you are isolated from society for weeks or months at a time. Although both of those careers are rewarding, I never talked with the end user, the person actually receiving something from my efforts. Real estate changed that, nothing more pleasing than visiting a excited buyer in their new residence. Of a seller getting far more than they paid out of their sale. Although, the combination of desk work and getting outside is what lead me to pursue a career in real estate. I've been coming to Fort Myers Beach for as long as I can remember - it was a simple choice, versus my hometown of Springfield, Oh. Haven't scraped the ice off my car windows since I've been here. Now that I've been in the real estate business for years in Fort Myers Beach, I'm confident, together, we can find your piece of paradise.     Curt was awesome. It's very hard to do business thousands of miles away. He has the patience of Job out of the bible....I was challenged by technology, yet he never was short with me. He always made me feel everything would be fine. He worked hard to find a condo for me and I plan on using him for future real estate dealings... Excellent in all my responses to everything he did should say it all! The only problems I had were computer related and that was not Curtis's fault....it was mine....he helped me with everything that I struggled with as far as emails and electronic transactions.... Curt helped me get thru all of that with great patience... I'm sure he wanted to strangle me many times for my lack of computer knowledge..after a couple times it became easier for me due to his guidance.i will be using Curtis again real soon for my next real estate transaction!...he found a great condo for me and gave a personal touch to helping find just what I wanted! I highly recommend Curtis Pickett!

    Curt's persistence and his email newsletter were very helpful. We felt we got to know him through the newsletter. He presented himself on-line just as he is in person. He created a real persona, not a false image. Curt was good responding to questions we asked and responded based on knowledge of our needs, ultimately helping us find just what we had in mind.     very friendly, made you feel like a friend/family member not like a business man only worried about his sale and what he going to make, went above and beyond communicating with other relator and sellers, he was willing to offer whatever we wanted not like previous relator from other company who acted like saying to low was rude to the sellers everyone nows this is a game of back and forth negation and he was willing to go the extra mile!
