As first-time buyers, we were fairly stressed about the process and had a lot of questions. From the beginning, Debbie made us feel comfortable and at ease with the home buying process. She instantly made a strong personal connection and that was our most important criteria for selecting a realtor. Throughout our home search, Debbie could not have been more accessible and responsive. Questions were often replied to in a matter of minutes. During the entire process, she went above and beyond in the areas of professionalism, communication, and friendliness. She was also very thorough when it came to inspections, which was extremely beneficial given that we were considering mostly older homes. We ended up with a house that we absolutely love. Last year tried to sell my home through another broker, referred to me by an local appraiser I had met on a plane back from Chicago. This lady was highly rated, known for selling high dollar homes, and advertised regularly. I contracted with her and after six months on the market and over 50 showings my home remained for sale. During the process I did not feel my home was properly marketed, my ideas were not listened to, I had difficulty in getting returned calls, and I had no clue what efforts where taken to sell my home... All I knew was that I was vacuuming my home regularly to make it look good, saw tracks in the rug, and no idea why there was no offer to purchase my home. In November 2017 I took the home off the market. Following this misstep, I made the effort to connect and interview with a number of reputable agents. In the process I spoke with several men and women (maybe 8 people) who made me feel like they wanted to talk over me (I knew nothing), were desperate for my business, or made me feel I was selling a used car, or that I needed to drop the price low enough for something to buy it FAST. I didn't need to move all that fast, but wanted to move to improve my job situation. I also wanted to get what I felt the home was worth. Appreciation since my purchase in 2005 had not been great compared with other areas of the country. Another thing I was looking for was someone who would market my home properly and could communicate with me... and cared about me and my situation. From this process I selected Debbie Kenny (Century 21 Scheetz). Note too that I had purchased my home in 2005 using an agent from Centry 21 Sheetz... When Debbie came into my home to sell me on her capabilities she was prepared with a professional presentation, and comps that showed my home was worth much more than I had listed it for the previous year. She was confident, had energy, was funny, listened to my concerns, and was excited about my home. Once I signed with her, she helping me at every step. She put the home on the market and within days we had a perfect offer. I needed work done on my roof, and in the basement, and she was there with suggestions on people who could help do the work. She was always letting me know what was going on, answered the her phone and responded to my every text question. She even told me when I was worried about things that I didn't need to worry about. Key to me was that Debbie was always there for me, listened, answered questions and took what I said seriously, having a professional response. Debbie was a true professional, was confident, a great communicator, and was always there to offer a helping hand. She even helped me bring in the trash bins when I was traveling. I couldn't ask for more. Could not have had a better support person to guide me through this process.

Debbie Kenny was flawless in her communication and quick responses. Debbie went above and beyond to get my home sold quickly and handled all issues, through the closing, effectively. I was extremely busy during the process and Debbie really helped to reign me in when needed. Her patience kept us on the same page and she really has servents heart putting both the buyers and sellers first. I could not recommend her high enough. Debbie brought in the help of another Scheetz colleague to help stage my home. She was great as well. To be fair - I would use Scheetz again as long as Debbie Is still there.

To say I highly recommend Debbie Kenny as a realtor is an understatement! During every aspect of the purchase of our house she went above and beyond. Going into the process, I was very nervous and clueless about buying a house but Debbie truly took the time to ease my nerves and answer my questions. Anytime during the purchase when I had a question or became stressed out I knew I could call or text her and I'd immediately feel better. We looked at a lot of houses in order to decide what we wanted and Debbie was extremely patient and never made me feel bad for wanting to look at another house! She would even look at houses for us and send pictures or Facetime us so we didn't have to drive there. Debbie helped us make a smart purchase by always having done her research and providing us with information on the neighborhood and comps. Debbie's communication, attitude and personality make her an amazing realtor! Not only do we LOVE our house but we feel like we've developed a friendship with Debbie. Communication is the life blood of anything, the worst feeling is not knowing. You will not experience that with Debbie. She will keep you informed every step of the way, and will be proactive with the information; not reactive, which can be frustrating to someone in what can be the biggest thing that an individual can be doing in their life - buying or selling a home. She's personable, confident and knows her craft. She nailed the price point in which to enter my home in the market and it was easy sailing from there. You would be silly not to talk to her before making one of the biggest transactions of your life... and once you do you won't regret working with her.

Debbie was truly fantastic to work with. She took time on the front end to get to know us, what we were looking for, and what our timelines were. She was never pushy, and we felt like she was always looking out for our best interest. Debbie was able to give us great information about the local market, and informed us on what we should be looking for from a price perspective. We requested to see a variety of houses and she was readily available to set up appointments. We could not have asked for a better experience as first time home buyers!
