Having grown up in Central Phoenix, I am well versed in much of the local history, neighborhoods, schools, and communities. My family and I have lived in Downtown Phoenix and currently call Ahwatukee home. I have a very well-rounded knowledge of the Valley. Prior to working as a Realtor, I lived in Tokyo, Japan for 7 years and conducted settling in services for expats and their families on job assignments. I know firsthand many of the nuances and intricacies of international and corporate relocation. Shortly after my return to Arizona, I served as a Relocation Director for over 13 years and trained a team of agents in corporate relocation. I strongly believe it is an honor to help people find their homes and get their families settled in their new lives and community. I love serving as a resource to my clients and am happy to be a hand-holder all the way through the home buying or selling process and beyond. Buyer reviewI had dealt with a different realtor (different company) for about a month and was very unhappy with their service. I was referred to Janelle Dessaint-Kimura/Century21 by my aunt, who works for the company as well. Not only was Janelle spot on with her recommendations, we actually ended up finding a house we loved the very first night we went out! She was super thorough and incredibly quick, working late into the night so we could get our offer in for the home we wanted! She was super helpful throughout the entire process. We ended up closing on our home last week and I've already referred her to two people who are beginning their home search! Thanks Janelle!

Seller reviewWe live in Las Vegas and wanted to make sure we had someone who knew the area of Ahwatukee well, because the first agent we interviewed was not a good fit for that reason. Janelle handled the 'unusual situation' of having part of the parties selling the home in Las Vegas and the other party living in the home, with memory issues. She made many trips to the house to assist when needed and made sure she updated us on all the statuses along the way. Janelle responded to texts, email and phone calls quickly and took any of our concerns seriously, and making sure we had satisfactory resolutions. Thank you Janelle for making this run so smoothly for us all! I would highly recommend Janelle to any of our family and friends - and in fact already have.

We were relocating to Phoenix from CT with our two boys and Janelle was able to help us through the process of finding the right neighborhoods that met our wants and needs. She was great with the negotiations and inspection processes and was there to helps us every step of the way.. Janelle went over the whole process of buying a home here in Phoenix, which is very different than in CT and we felt safe and supported the whole way.
