Buyer reviewWe had rented from Collins before, and called in to the office on a whim one day to start the process of searching for property to buy. Jean Ulrich happened to be on call, so getting her was pure coincidence. But it was our lucky day! After that conversation we never even considered working with anyone else. She was so knowledgeable and sensitive to what we were looking for that we never looked back! Jean helped us refine our search and offered us a lot of options--from lots for new construction to new homes to older ones. We knew nothing about beach property, and she helped us understand about piers, flood zones, and boat docks. There was mistake on the listing from the seller's agent regarding the amount of property that fronted the water. Jean caught the mistake and helped us bring it to the seller's attention, and then was able to factor that into the negotiations for a firm price. Go Jean!

When we met her, we were immediately impressed with how easily we connected with her and how knowledgeable she was about the area and its real estate market. Her communication was always prompt and clear. She anticipated our needs for each step and provided the needed information as we moved forward. She never seemed to feel hassled by our questions and encouraged us to be thorough in checking things out. Even after our closing, when we had some unexpected damage in the first few days after our purchase, Jean willingly helped us determine where to go for repairs and coverage. Our experience working with her has been completely positive from start to finish. We would highly recommend Jean Ulrich to anyone looking for a home on St George Island.

Buyer reviewJean and Gary Ulrich did a great job of educating me on local building codes and requirements as well as caveats to watch for with home ownership at the coast. They have been wonderful about suggesting things that I should or might want to do relating to home ownership and an appropriate timeline for doing so. They were willing to consider my perspective and to do things out of order with local tradition such as an inspection prior to presenting and negotiating an offer. They understood my experience relating to seller disclosures and the contract. They walked a fine line between a selling realtor and buying realtor and finessed the approach between me as the buyer and the seller. I had looked actively this year for three months and vacationed here for many years. They listened to what I was looking for in a home and showed me just one, and I bought it! Century 21 Collins Realty is a large firm here on the island with many fine realtors who are knowledgable about the local market. I would use Jean Ulrich again and highly recommend someone else do so as well. She is lovely to work with while maintaining a very professional approach. She is a good business person and I trust her.

Buyer reviewJean went above and beyond to help us close the sale of our property. During our search she was always available, listened to our concerns, answered endless questions and never rushed us . She is a wealth of information and since we were not familiar with the SGI area she had many suggestions to help us secure inspections, insurance and get our questions answered as quickly as possible etc. She has excellent communication skills and emails and calls were answered promptly (even weekends) , at all hours as well . Additionally Jean demonstrated excellent follow through with all the extra details that come with purchasing a home. She is very reassuring and made our purchase a smooth process. Her patience,calming personality, and attention to detail made her a pleasure to work with.
