Personal Profile
My family and I moved to Northern Virginia in 2004 on a military assignment. We loved the area so much that we decided to stay. I am the wife of a retired Army soldier. As a military spouse, I know the ups and downs of moving…what's important, and what's not. I also learned a lot of lessons on what to do, and what not to do.
As a Full-time Realtor® with over 20 years in the sales/service industry, I bring a wealth of wisdom and insight to the needs of my clients with proven experience performing a comprehensive comparative analysis of homes and marketing them with the highest sellable price. I know firsthand that moving to the D.C. metro area can be a daunting experience; I'll help make it a pleasant experience for you and your family. Whether you are conducting a marathon house hunting trip, finding a home by yourself (while keeping a spouse involved that's far away), or just spending hours finding the perfect home, I am ready, willing, and prepared to help you reach your goals!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and an Associate's degree in Business and Marketing. I have spent most of my professional life in sales and customer service; my takeaway is that the key to success is to simply listen and help people get what they want. In a market where buyers are waiving inspections to compete, we were able to get a contingent inspection and found a few items that saved us in our purchase. Seller reviewTo Whom It May Concern: The decision to go with Judy Petrak as the realtor, to sell our home, was because of many reasons. I knew Judy prior to this transaction so it was a given that she was going to be very professional and knowledgeable of her job. We felt Judy was a good fit for us but most of all, we needed someone to comfort and ease our mind through this process. Judy exceeded our expectations. Her response time was impeccable. There was never a thought of "did Judy receive our text or email?". When I look at Judy, I think of classy, elegant and very well put together. Well, that was how the presentation of our home looked. The photographer she used was amazing. We received numerous compliments on the photos that were used, the aerial video (the music was a nice touch) and most of all, the elegant tri-fold pamphlet. Our Buyers used a VA Loan. Therefore, the process took longer than we had wanted but with Judy by our side, everything went very well. I could go on and on but overall, I would highly recommend Judy as a realtor. She has your interest at heart and will go the extra effort to make you happy.. We have had 3 other real estate experiences prior to this transaction and I have to say this was the best experience for us. I think the buyers also felt comfortable with her. They had met her at one of the open house event.
