Virginia is for lovers and I LOVE Virginia! I fell in love the first time I visited while sitting on the hill in Monticello, and, after living here for more than 13 years, feel Virginia is my home and country. I am the mother of 3 beautiful children and we couldn't be happier living in Fredericksburg. It has the beauty of all 4 seasons, the history of our nation, and a tight-knit community. Our home is an important part of our lives, where we start each morning, and rest and rejuvenate after a full day. Every family is different, and, consequently, every family has different needs when it comes to their ideal home. My goal is to help you find the right house with the least stress possible. My husband was a paratrooper who was severely injured in the Army and is now permanently disabled. Buyer reviewThis was our first time selling and buying a home at the same time. Kat was so patient with us and never lost her cool...as much as I bugged her and got frustrated when we lost bids. She was always professional and was attentive to our needs. She was always accessible, even on Sundays. She also fought for us when prospective buyers started to go "sideways". To give you a little background I am a Vietnam era vet also just happen to be retired I am facing surgery in the near future I needed someone who can assist me in this process with very little help from me. Ms Brown has shown herself to be quite the real estate agent keeping me informed throughout the process and providing me with information such as contractors who can complete the work with very little monitoring or input resources and other amenities. Not sure who selected who when he came to picking a realtor it was either me selecting her or divine intervention I can't express my gratitude and appreciation for someone who gave me the attention I deserved. Buyer reviewPurchasing a home in a competitive market can be incredibly stressful, which is one of the reasons that we wanted to work with a real estate agent. When it came to selecting a buyer agent, we knew that Kat would be a good fit to represent us. She's personable and professional, listened to what we wanted, taught and guided us based on the area we were looking in and what was happening with existing homes and new builds, communicated often and clearly with us, answered every question we had and followed up on every listing we had questions about, and best of all, she was encouraging (you need that in a competitive market).
