I am a full-time professional Realtor, with Accredited Buyer designation. I have been in real estate in the Glastonbury area full-time for over 13 years have a solid understanding of the local market areas. Prior to entering real estate, I held positions in the corporate world as V.P. of Sales at Moore Medical - a medical distributor, where I held P&L responsibilities for well over $50M in sales, as well as a General Manager role in an Import/Export company with offices in the US/Italy/Canada.My formal education is in International Business, with a degree from UCONN. I have been living in Glastonbury for over 20 years and am actively involved in the local schools,GHS Crew and community service programs. I am also a long standing member in BNI (Business Network International) where I have held positions of educational coordinator, VP and President. Buyer reviewKatherine was very easy to talk to and understood exactly what I was looking for in a home. I had quite a year for 2019, and stressing over where to live was not something I wanted added to my already overfilled plate. Katherine was patient, kind, informative and relatable to my situation at hand. It felt really great working with her and it almost was more a friendship towards the end. I would definitely recommend Katherine to any of my friends who may be looking for a realtor. I'm now in a house that feels like a home and there is no better feeling. Seller reviewWe were very lucky. The house sold in two days for the asking price in cash. Katherine was very professional and helped with the negotiations to get to the two days under contract status. Throughout the buyer inspection process, Katherine kept us up to date and helped with selecting contractors to handle the minor items that needed remediation prior to closing. We would definitely use Katherine again if the need arose.

Buyer reviewKathy was by far the best person for the job in regards to helping us find a home. We originally had a different agent who we thought was doing the best they could to help, however we sort of hit a dead end and started to feel hopeless. However, we were blessed to have found Kathy and all of a sudden we felt like we had so many options we had not seen before. Kathy was able to talk us through the process and help us better understand the buying power we actually had and to not feel discouraged, she had a game plan and basically did all the hard work for us throughout the process, we look at homes that appeared in our minds as out of budget, however with Kathy's knowledge and expertise in the field and the area we were shopping in, she knew exactly what the true value of each home was in her opinion and to be discouraged by the price you see online or in an ad. She always did her homework and whenever she wanted to know something about a property she would not hesitate a second to reach for her phone or head to her office and get to work to find out all the answers to our questions. At no point did we feel alone or confused at the process of purchasing our first home; we were confident and felt very cared working with Kathy. She has many qualities that makes her a great real estate agent however the best part about working with Kathy is the sense that she is on your side, and she is not just in it for the paycheck but to find her clients a home. From feeling completely lose and in the dumps about not finding a property, to meeting Katherine Curry and being finding our dream home in about a month after meeting her. Now we are moved in and cant stop thank her for all she has done for us and our family. THANK YOU KATHY!!

Buyer reviewKatherine Curry is more than just someone who helps you find a home. She becomes your friend, your guide, and your lifeline. I am a first-time home buyer, and Katherine had an answer for every question I dreamed of asking her (there were many). She ended up knowing me better than I knew myself and helped me to narrow down and select the perfect first home. Her knowledge of inspection protocols, permits, and the ins and outs of home buying were invaluable to me. Katherine is a wonderful person, a wonderful real estate agent, and really just a wonderful person. I plan on using her for all of my home buying/selling needs as long as I am here in Connecticut. I have already recommended her to several friends.
