My wife, son and I had been looking to buy our first house for nearly 2 years, primarily in the Hudson Valley, unsuccessfully for the usual reasons but one of which was our distaste for shady or slimy brokers. That all changed when Kathy Mauro answered my call to her office in Milford, PA about a home i saw on Trulia. She had an excellent phone disposition and knew exactly what i was inquiring about and very quickly we were able to schedule a look at the house. That Saturday my family and I drove to Milford for the first time ever. We met Kathy at her office and she had a folder prepared for us, including the property i had called about plus another 10 or so ones i was also interested in. We spent the entire day driving around to all the houses and Kathy knew the area/town/history/schools/restaurants/taxes etc inside out. She was very warm and patient with us. We didn't find the perfect house that day but we definitely had decided on the Milford and Kathy as our broker. We came up the following weekend for another day of viewings. Again, Kathy was a joy to drive around with (even when my 7 year old was getting carsick!) and was even more familiar with what we were looking for which made the process all around easier. We found a house we liked that day and put in an offer the following day. Kathy was able to negotiate a good deal for us and we were very pleased to move forward. Kathy was very involved every step of the way, the entire process (inspections, repairs, etc) up until closing. We are extremely pleased with the service we received from Kathy Mauro, would absolutely work with her again and recommend her to our friends.
