I have lived in the Washington area practically my entire life and never tire of seeing the monuments as I approach the city from Virginia which has been my home since 1975. I started my real estate career in new homes which gave me lots of training in all aspects of real estate, from the ground up. I have been working full time ever since and got my associate broker's license in 1988 and keep learning something new with every transaction. I also have the SRES designation, Senior Real Estate Specialist which means I am ready willing and able to help all those ready to update, downsize and move on! I have managed entire renovation projects for my sellers with great success. This is where my training in interior design leads the way. I have naturally added pre-listing consulting as well as staging into my practice. My goal is to optimize the home's potential so that it will shine when it is presented as a new listing. This is an important part of the marketing strategy. With buyers, my training assists me in pointing out the possibilities of each home that interests them so that certain objections do not become over emphasized and outweigh the good points. Another of my goals is to facilitate the entire transaction for my clients so that we have a smooth settlement and happy homeowners. After all these many years of experience, I enjoy the challenges of house hunting and listing all kinds of property all over Northern Virginia but I really appreciate that I manage to get wonderful people to work with as clients. That is a key to my success.

Seller reviewLilyan truly went above and beyond in selling a home for us out of an estate. She was not afraid to get her hands dirty by helping us de-clutter and stage the house as best as possible with existing furniture. She not only mapped out a strategy to help us sell some of the items in the home but actually dropped off those items at the appropriate locations. Lilyan also did her homework on how to best price the home for a quick sale and provided all the comps at our first meeting so we could make an informed decision. She stayed attentive and assisted with final details all the way up to the moment the keys were handed to the buyer. Without question the best service I have ever experienced from a real estate agent. On a scale of one to five, I would give Lilyan a 6.

Seller reviewLilyan was the perfect agent for us. She has known us for many years. She was excellent at listening to us and our abilities and inabilities and working around those concerns. We didn't have a lot of money available for getting house updated and looking good for sale. Lilyan helped up make wise choices in doing work to our home before getting it on the market. We finally put it on the market the 20th of November 2015 which was during some bad snow storms and then during the holiday season. Lilyan was very encouraging and helpful throughout the whole process, I would reccommend her in a heartbeat.

Lilyan was firm but courteous through all the ups and downs they put us through. I recommend her highly. I received a full price contract within one week, the closing was about 12 weeks later due to lack of communication from the buyers agent and lender. Lilyan helped me navigate and understand all the delays. I truly appreciate Lilyans quidance and help through the process. I recommend her highly.
