From the beginning, during our first meeting, we really connected with Marlene. She took time to get to know us and our requirements by asking questions and listening to us. She showed us some homes to gauge what we liked and disliked to help her develop a custom search strategy for us. Marlene provided us with a perfect cadence of homes to view, not too many and not too few. Her knowledge of the area was significant in every aspect: new home builders, existing home inventory, local characteristics (things to do, prone to flooding, noise, etc.) and pricing to name a few. Marlene never rushed us and was wonderfully patient with us the entire time. Since we were new to the area, Marlene offered us referrals for professional services. There was never any pressure to use the referrals and Marlene made it clear it would make no difference to her if we chose to use them or not. We did take advantage of two of the referrals and both were excellent. As we migrated towards buying new construction, Marlene gave us great insight into reputations and approaches of several builders. She guided us on things to consider about new construction and gave us ideas and options to include in new construction. She also talked with us about impacts due to supply chain constraints and rapid growth in the area. One we signed a contract for new construction, Marlene stayed in close contact with the builder and provided us with frequent updates. Marlene was with us for the entire process and never took us for granted. She met us on site for walk-throughs. She coordinated meetings and communication with other professionals (attorney, lender, etc.). Above all, Marlene is compassionate, sincere and has a sense of humor but does not hesitate being firm with others to protect our interest. We would highly recommend Marlene Frederick!
