Hands down the most hard working, resourceful, and dedicated realtor I have ever worked with. I had worked with several other realtors in the past, none who were willing to put in as much effort that Matt put in. He did this without a second thought or being asked. We had a very difficult home to close on that I spoke with over 20 banks and lenders about. None were willing to get proper answers or provide a loan (reasons were due to large acreage, not because of income, credit score, credit line, income/debt, etc). Matt, after the only bank I found that said they would provide the loan but at 2 weeks before closing backed out, was able to find a loan provider and get things approved within a week. Matt was always upfront on his thoughts to take any guess work out while he built a case for buying the house. Anything we were unsure of, he would find the answer. He was always quick to respond and flexible with his time. All in all, I'll never work with another realtor. I have never worked with a more dedicated and hard working broker. I had talked and worked with several other brokers and realtors, to which none had the interest in going the extra mile. This broker had the means and knowledge of getting a deal completed where every other broker or bank we spoke with could not. Matt had several contacts he worked with at Century 21 Gold Standard. All such contacts and stuff were more than helpful and able to provide useful information when needed.

Simply put, Matthew Golden is what every Real Estate Agent should aspire to be. I started my home search in the Spring of last year when he reached out to me about a home I expressed interest in online. Unfortunately the home was already Pending, but we ended up having a full conversation about what I was looking for and as we were wrapping up our call, he ended it with expressing how important patience was in finding the "forever home" and that he did not want me to settle. With this being my first home, my experience with Real Estate Agents was limited, but I knew in that moment I was working with the right person. Month after month after month went by with no luck, but Matt kept applauding my patience and reassuring me that it'll come. After feeling a bit hopeless, I thought it was worth a shot to look at some homes that were on the market for a while (obviously needing a lot of work). Matt immediately booked viewings and as we walked through the homes, pointed out all the areas of concern and was honest that they just weren't worth the investment. This would be the appropriate time to mention that Matt's first priority is making his clients happy and that was evident right away. One morning in the fall I received an email from Matt about a new listing that FINALLY checked all the boxes! He got us the first slot he could and after we toured the home we knew it was the one! Knowing that, Matt said he would do everything in his power to make sure we got it. At this point, trusting him emphatically, I wanted to offer whatever HE thought was best. After following his advise on what to offer, which included an escalation clause, we won the bid by a mere $1,000! I can wholeheartedly say we wouldn't have gotten our home without Matt. Then started the process of buying the home, which Matt guided me through step-by-step, always letting me know what to expect and made sure I understood everything. Even now that we've closed on the house, Matt still checks in to make sure everything is going ok! Matt made, what is typically one of the most stressful times of one's life (especially nowadays), the most smooth and stress-free experience! His response time is nearly instantaneous, genuinely cares about his clients, incredibly thorough and never gives advise he wouldn't take himself. I've told family and friends about him and they couldn't believe we managed to find an Agent like him! I consider myself so lucky to have worked with Matt and would recommend him in a heartbeat. You truly won't find someone more patient, understanding and trustworthy than Matt.

Matt never failed to exceed our expectations when selling our primary residence and helping us to find the next perfect home. He worked tirelessly through both transactions to be sure we were in the loop and had our best interests at heart. He gave us guidance and broke things down for us when things were gray. He was careful with each transaction and saw it through all the way to the end.

This is the second home which I have purchased, and although I hadn't had any issues with the other broker's I did find that the agent I used for this transaction was very knowledgeable and did very well in advocating for me when the paperwork got confusing during the transaction. He kept on the seller's agent and attorney to keep their side moving and got us to close in a timely manner. If I ever purchase another home I will definitely be using the same agent, and will be referring ly friends in that direction as well. The agent was very professional and made sure that everything went as smooth as possible. Even advocating on my behalf when some of the legal paperwork had clerical errors to ensure that the closing happened in a timely manner. Excellent experience using this agent, Inwill be recommending him to family and friends for future transactions. Everything was done in a timely manner and all correspondence was profession and kind. Extremely satisfied.
