My first time leaving my parents' house, I decided to purchase a home. For me, this was a terrifying situation. But as a 31 year old single woman with a career, it was time. I wanted a realtor who would not necessarily sympathize with me, but understand where I was coming from. I have never lived away from parents, but I strongly believed that if I was capable of owning, than financially, owning would be a better decision than renting. Although I knew this, it did not negate my fear of being fully responsible for home repairs, depleting my savings account, mortgages, and buying EVERYTHING for a home. This is where Mr. Warner comes in. From day one, I voiced my concerns to Mr. Warner. After reviewing my budget with me, he reassured me that things will work out as they should. He informed me that the process could be draining, but worth it. I looked at the first house back in March, 2018. This house was a foreclosure. I liked it, but nervous because it was a foreclosure. Mr. Warner informed me of how beneficial a foreclosure can be if I am mentally prepared and willing to put in the work. He did not pressure me, he checked on me while I thought about it, and he was not upset when I finally decided to put an offer in (I took a while), and saw that the house was under contract as of earlier that day. From this process, he did not give up on me. We continued to look at homes until the end of July, 2018. In regards to the last home I saw, as I walked through, I did not experience all of the uncertainties that I experienced with the other homes. I felt at ease with the house, but still afraid of the process. I saw the house on a Saturday, put the offer in that day (with the help of Mr. Warner's expertise), the sellers accepted the offer on Monday, and it all took off from there. By this time it was August, 2018. I was terrified, and tried not to think about it. Mr. Warner called me periodically throughout each week before closing on 8/31/2018, just to check on me. That meant a lot. He was also open to talk when I needed to contact him. Anybody who knows me, know that I can be tough, and act unbothered when I really am bothered. I felt comfortable telling Mr. Warner that I was afraid of being a homeowner. Everything that was coming up ahead gave me palpitations every time I thought about it. Mr. Warner listened and let me vent every time, even if it was about the same thing I vented about the last time we spoke. We did the inspection, each time the inspector said something about the house, I felt more anxious and overwhelmed. I even got nervous about the hole in the bedroom door. Mr. Warner reassured me that those things were minor and even suggested places/people who could correct the issue. The sellers agreed to fix everything, the home inspection took place, and I closed on 8/31/2018. I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for Mr. Warner. There were times that I would be afraid to talk to him because I did not want for him to get frustrated with me. He never seemed frustrated with me prior to finding my home, but I feel like everybody has their breaking point, and I didn't want to push it. My indecisiveness and fear began to get on my own nerves. Mr. Warner stayed cool, calm, collected, and smiley throughout the entire process. I felt comfortable with Mr. Warner, and never felt like I need to be guarded. His judgment was trustworthy, his personality was friendly, and his communication was effective. I would recommend Mr. Warner to anyone, especially first-time homebuyers. I never felt like his ultimate goal was to gain a commission. I felt like his goal was to assist with me with making an informed decision that I would be happy with. If a buyer wants the hassle-free, educational, satisfying, low-stress (as low as possible), home buying experience, Mr. Warner at Century 21 is the person to go to! Thanks for everything!

Mervyn guided us seamlessly through this process...essentially twice! He were first time homebuyers and so we really didn't know what the process entailed. Despite this, Mervyn was a very patient and attentive shepard and did not get frustrated with us, even when our financing fell through after the first agreement because of my husband's job ending unexpectedly. Mervyn enabled us to get the house that we wanted by helping us to find the financing we needed and by renegotiating a second contract with the sellers despite this hurdle. He moved swiftly when timing was critical and he was available 24/7 at every step. He attended the inspection with me and did multiple walk throughs. Not only did he share his knowledge of real estate negotiation and logistics, he also knows a ton about how houses are built and was able to give us good tips about what makes a house well made vs shottily put together. He even gave us ideas for how it would be possible to renovate our new home. Mervyn made the stressful process of buying our first home enjoyable, exciting, and fun! He really went beyond the call of duty and to me epitomizes "professional." He was consistently reassuring, despite my anxiety, and he left me feeling (and was correct!) that everything would turn out okay. There is no one in the world as amazing as Mervyn at this role. My only suggestion would be to clone him.

Mervyn Warner's expertise was instrumental in helping me sell my house. Selling this house was very tedious and drawn-out. But he was very cordial and diligent throughout the whole process. And made sure all the paper work was done sufficiently on both sides. Whenever I texted or emailed him he would respond immediately. And that is what I liked about Mervyn, he was efficient. I would recommended Mervyn because you always got results. I plan on using him again when I buy my next house.

Mervyn Warner is a patient agent that will work with you, and try his best to make sure the house you want. Unlike some other agents who just shows you a couple of houses and want you to pick one. He is always available to answer your questions and he is trustworthy; a very important factor. He is not greedy for the commission, but is more concerned about what you want.
