I was an out of state client seeking a home in Iowa, due to job re-location. Mike Crabb is the agent that my family chose. from the beginning Mike explained the purchase process in detail, he made a commitment to guide us every step of the way, from finding home to closing on a home. The finding a home and closing was a challenge mainly because of 3 things. 1. I lived 900 miles away. living far away made it dificult for my family to choose a home, Mike gave several recommendations, but was never pushy to sell us one from the agency he represented. I used zillow and I would send hime homes that id like to look at. he would immediately respond and would set up a Virtual Live Tour of the home. he would give feedback of things he noticed on houses that could be of concern, again, he was not pushy on us to commit to any house. I remember id ask about a house, and he would have an appointment ready to view within an hour. he would be far away from the town we wanted to see virtually, but would drive to it without hesitation. 2. COVID-19. Again, I lived 900 miles away. once I found a home I wanted to set a contract on, he did all of the leg work. he set me up with all the to-do tasks such as home inspection, etc.. and set up ways for me to pay and e-sign online. Not only that, he was present for all these tasks and maintained constant communication of progress. 3. Working with out of state lender. since I lived far away, I had a finance person that I wanted to use from where I was living, Mike stayed in constant communication with her (finance person) and pretty much let me coast through the whole thing.. Closing day. Mike had a very important licensing class that he absolutely had to attend, but even then, he somehow managed to do his class and be present for my closing process and guide me throughout it all. Also, he offered to let me borrow a big box-truck. weeks after I closed, Mike has stayed in contact with me, always asking how things are going, if I like Iowa. I have needed documents, and he sends them to me right away.. I really don't have anything negative to say about him. I for sure know that ill reach out to him if I ever decide to sell home and buy something different.

Mike Crabb was very attentive to documentation and timelines to keep in mind. He helped efficiently navigate last-minute issues to still close on time and avoid a temporary housing issue for our family. We really enjoyed our experience working with Mike. With his help, we found a house we loved and were able to sell our home within 24 hours of listing and above asking price. Mike is very knowledgable, accessible, and easy to work with!
