I contacted Tami Hicks based on the recommendation of a person in a study group. I knew that Tami helped this person sell their property in Ames, Iowa in a very short period of time early in 2015. Tami set me at ease immediately at our first meeting in June 2015. She was friendly, helpful, but never "pushy". Tami is highly informed; she always gave me good recommendations and explanations about what came next in the process. I truly appreciated Tami's patience with me when I felt I needed to follow a slightly different path at times. I also appreciated that Tami responded quickly whenever I had a question or concern. Over all I was very happy working with Tami and the few contacts I had with her other staff. Everyone was so helpful and made the sale of my home less stressful, especially when I moved out of state and needed them to do some local tasks that I could not handle easily from a long distance. I would definitely recommend Tami Hicks to anyone in the Ames/ Des Moines, Iowa area. And thanks again Tami for helping me sell my former home !!

Tami took the time for an after hours viewing of a property that was 1/2 hour away from her office and was on a Friday evening (and she did it with a smile!). She then went back home and drew up an offer to purchase for us and got us into the pool of other prospective buyer (10 others plus ours) and with her helpful knowledge of the best ways to improve our odds of getting the winning offer, we came out on top. Thank you Tami Hicks for all that you have done to help us with our real estate purchase!

Even if you didn't know that Tami has years of experience in real estate and in living in Central Iowa, it is obvious when working with her that she has a wealth of knowledge about all real estate and property transactions, and she clearly knows what she's doing. Although we were looking for a home in an extremely fast-moving sellers' market, Tami never pressured us to make a quick decision. Tami is honest, she is realistic, and generous with her time. Moving out of state, most of our transactions and questions had to be done by email and text, but she was quick to communicate and get us the answers we needed - as well as the answers we didn't even know we needed.
