Teri was an excellent asset as an agent a fighter. We were up against a very complex deal which had many twists and turns. In addition to all of this, the deal was to close in 30 days, which included two holidays and one where even the bankers were closed and unable to help move things along. Teri worked with us tirelessly and did not get us a house at the beach, she was able to get us a BEACH HOUSE - yes, one where the ocean is out your front door, not 5, 10, 15 blocks away, 2 minutes from your living room to the beach. The beach is visible from 3 different floors of the house including the roof deck. We did not think we would even be able to engage in contract because there were many moving parts, many things to get around, tight deadlines, blood-pressure-raising moments, but she prevailed. She got us the home we wanted and even helped to secure ALL of the rent for the summer for contracts already written. The seller did not get $1 of the rentals, when many sellers were asking for it. So this testimonial is long for a reason - because you want to still be reading....because if your agent did an "ok" job, then they were not our agent. If they did a "good" job, then they were not our agent. If they did an "excellent" job, they were not our agent. If they are a phenomenal agent, then they are close to what Teri Bassett is to us. Add to that her gift to us was not only an emotional one, but well thought out. It was not a bottle of wine purchased on the way to the closing - she took the time to personalize something that meant a lot to us. So you can have a real estate agent, anyone can, but having Teri Bassett as your agent - well, I think I have said what needs to be said. I would recommend Teri for her skills, her local knowledge of Wildwood (she lives nearby) and various shore points (many agents do not live in the area - but sell there), not being afraid to explain and negotiate the negatives of a particular property and sharing them with her client(s), and just being a genuinely good human being.
