About Tracy Chan 吳陳優 - The Realtor for You. I came from Hong Kong, graduated from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. I received my MBA from CUNY Baruch while working full time in NYC. I write as well as speak fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

With my background, I am reaching out to Asian clients who would find a realtor speaking in their native language make the process of buying and selling real estates a lot easier. With my language skills, I am doing English translation in a Chinese Church as well.

I had worked for a Turkish shipping company in NYC for 7 years as an Operations manager. I have gained vast experience working with international business professionals who have different accents and cultures especially in Eastern Europe. My MBA in computer science also gives me total control of the state-of-the-art real estate listing technology tools. For example, all of my listings will have a free custom built Visual Tour.

Besides, I love music and am currently playing piano in church and teaching my children as well. Teaching students allow me to learn to listen to their problems and adjust myself to fit each student's learning curve. I believe this has given me the fundamental skills in working with all my real estate clients.

This was my first home buying experience. I reached out to several brokers and Tracy Chan was the only one that checked all the boxes from the very beginning: She responded quickly. There were no one word responses. She actually asked clarifying questions. She did not sugarcoat things. If she believed that it is a bad property or area, she would tell you. To say that Tracy went above and beyond to walk me through my first home buying experience would be the understatement of the year. She managed to work around my busy schedule, patiently handled all logistical challenges and provided support in situations where she clearly didn't have to. Two examples: 1. When I was not able to join her for visits, she took videos of the properties for me and commented on everything she saw and found. Even outside regular work hours. 2. Even after the purchase she made sure to stay in touch and help me address any issues that had clearly were not her responsibility. In short, she did not just think about her own commission; she wanted to make sure that I would walk away without any regrets. Buying a house is by no means an enjoyable experience but she made sure that I was not miserable. If I ever wanted to buy another place I would reach out to Tracy in a heartbeat.
