All, This was my mom's estate property for sale and we had been referred to another agent. There were some really important issues with the agent so we decided to find a new one. Vicky came highly recommended by a friend and through word of mouth, Vicky has an excellent reputation. We interviewed several agents before hiring Vicky. Vicky was the ONLY agent that came prepared with all stats, demographics, comps, etc. We were impressed and hired her the same day. She was professional and always honest. She is a good listener and she really worked hard on getting our property sold. There were many challenges along the way with buyers (not us) and Vicky was on top with the other agents. My siblings and I would definitely recommend Vicky again. We had buyers that said they were going to write an offer and didn't. We had several contracts and then they backed out just a few days later. We had a scam where the buyer signed the contract, had an inspection, and the so-called "attorney" had his money for earnest and it was never paid. Their time ran out and they never paid. The contract was voided. Despite the challenges we had, and we had many, Vicky always worked diligently to get matters resolved. She worked closely with the other agents in getting the appropriate information to buyers' agents and to us. Thank you Vicky for being our rock. One day I was upset with a sibling and I started fussing with Vicky and gossiping about the sibling. Vicky stated that she does not get involved in these matters. She is absolutely correct and professional. Things can messy and she was right in her response. We didn't deal directly with the agency. I received emails after the sale about help with moving. However, we are not moving. Once we received a "valid offer", Vicky, the other agent, the buyer, and the 3 of us were all satisfied with the end results. Even though this was very emotional for me and still is, I couldn't be happier with how smoothly it ended. The new buyers are very excited about the house and the property. They shared the improvements they are going to do and my mom would have been pleased. I believe that we had to wait till GOD had the right people to take over my mom's house and my get away. Vicky Marshall is a hard worker and excellent communicater. She puts in the time to market your property properly. She is professional as well as warm and friendly. She is honest and frank as well. I'd worked with her before and Vicky remained the same excellent agent that she was for other transactions. She showed the family home, but guarded its privacy. There was no open house, but for that house it was inappropriate. Wonderfully empathetic, Vicky understood how emotional the sale would be for me. It was my family home. She was exactly the way I needed her to be-- professional and tremendously understanding. Despite not being familiar with the area, Vicky took the time to learn about it. She was open to gathering information to understand the land value. Vicky understood how we arrived at sales price and respected what my bottom line was. I was very satisfied with how the deal panned put. I know I am gushing but Vicky has been an agent for our family for a few years now, and she has proven herself over and over again through numerous transactions on our behalf. Vicky helped my dad by his house in the same neighborhood a few years back. She made the process run really smooth and was always helpful. We work out of town during the week and are only home on the weekends. Vicky was always willing to show us homes and squeeze in everything we needed even if it was after hours or late on a Sunday.
