Personal Profile
Vince has been selling real estate in the local market since 1993 and has helped his clients to successfully close hundreds of transactions. His primary focus has been on single family homes, investment real estate, farms and small to mid sized commercial properties. For the years of 1999 through 2005 he was the top producing sales associate out of an office of approximately 20 agents. In 2006 Vince became owner and broker of Century 21 A Better Way with offices in Carlisle and Shippensburg with approximately 25 sales associates. His business is now focused on providing his company's clients with exceptional customer service and value as well as helping other real estate professionals to grow and succeed in their careers.
Vince has been very active with the local and state associations of Realtors having served as a president of the Carlisle Association of Realtors and as member of the board of directors for both The Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors and The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. H e is also involved in his community and is a past president of the Newville Lions Club.
A successful career in real estate does not allow much time for hobbies but he thinks that if he ever finds the time, he might go fishing.

Buyer reviewAs an out of town buyer in this competitive market, I depended on Vince's expertise and deligence to successfully find the right property and close the deal. He saved me multiple trips by arranging virtual tours and communicating exactly what he saw. I didn't need to step in the house before making an offer.

Buyer reviewVince was recommended by another agent. Our situation was quite unusual in that first, we had to sell our home (with Vince as our agent). The property was unique and took extra effort to market correctly. Due in large part to Vince's expert assistance, we had 17 showings in three days and sold the property for more than our asking price. Vince assisted us with the purchase of our current residence which, again, was a special case. He helped broker a satisfactory deal (for both parties) with the seller whom we had contacted directly (i.e. the house was never on the market - it was a direct purchase between parties). We are very pleased with the expert guidance provided by Vince during the entire process. We have already and will continue to strongly recommend Vince Mellott and his Century 21 team.

Seller reviewI have lived in 6 different states in 3 of the U.S. time zones, explored living in 5 more, and lived in 4 different cities in 9 years in Germany. I have worked with at least 30 realtors in my life and none hold a candle to Vince Mellot. If there's room in Heaven for Abe Lincoln, then there better room for Vince Mellot.

Highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home. We had homes we wanted to see had trouble finding one. We talked with Vince he was willing to show us even though they were not in his normal area.
