Kit Wilcox and his associates were outstanding help in the sale of my mother's house. They went beyond my expectations. I was not in the local area and my mother was in a nursing home so the assistance I received could not have been better. They knew how to price the home, get it ready for open houses, took feedback from those open houses always keeping me aware of everything without me having to deal with any problems. He also knew people to call for maintenance issues like a broken sump pump and a tree that needed cutting down from a storm. Again, I would highly recommend this realtor and associates - very professional and helpful through the entire process of selling a house!

It was a pleasure working with Kit Wilcox to handle the sale of an estate sale house in Galesburg. I was working from out of town so had to rely on Kit to determine what fixing up the house would need and would be worthwhile to maximize the sales proceeds net of fix up costs. Kit did a great job of identifying our market niche and price range target and locating and overseeing local contractors for us to do work needed for the house to show well. I found it helpful that he kept me apprised of scheduled showings by brokers and of the comments of prospective buyers that did not make offers. The pace of showings and comments of prospective buyers and their brokers confirmed that we had the house priced and presented right. When we got an offer he was very professional and knowledgeable in advising me on the counter offer and presented our position well so we got under contract at a price and terms we were happy with. Kit and his staff handled the escrow and closing very smoothly and efficiently, tracking down and obtaining all documentation needed for a successful closing. All in all, one of the smoothest real estate purchase or sale transactions I have experienced.

Kit Wilcox did an excellent job of marketing our property. He had several open houses and spent a lot of time selling this property. Kit is very knowledgeable and professional in the real estate business.

Before we purchased we went through many open houses over the course of about 2 years. Kit was by far the most personable, patient and had the most knowledge. We could not be any happier with Kit.
