I was hesitant to make the investment because this was my first investment property and I would be purchasing it out of state. I couldn't have asked for a better agent than Carlie, who made the process far too simple. We used text messaging because it was more convenient for us to do so given my line of work. Text messages were used exclusively throughout the entire procedure, with no phone calls made. Although it is unusual, it accommodated my schedule and made it very simple for me to buy a multi-family property outside of my state. She made the entire process comfortable for me, from visiting less desirable neighborhoods to bargaining on my behalf when I discovered a property I was interested in. Carlie was a lot of fun to shop with for houses, the whole experience was like having a sister with me: she made it easy by being accessible, knowing the areas where we looked at houses, and knowing what is going on in the market. When it came time to put in the offer, Carlie knew exactly how to make the offer look enticing to the seller: everything from the amount of earnest money, to the offering price, to an allowable margin on defects - all were the perfect combination to present to the seller who originally wanted cash offers instead of financed buyers. There were a number of amendments to the offer that needed to be made - Carlie was on top of all that. At one point in the process, I discussed with Carlie some frustrations that arose; Carlie was able to explain to me exactly what I was feeling and put my fears to rest. At closing, there was only Carlie, myself, and an attorney for the lending agent - no seller, no seller agent, no keys. Carlie worked tirelessly to ensure that I received the keys before end of day. This was my second house purchase and was more involved/complicated than I remember in my first home purchase experience. I am very fortunate to have had Carlie to see me through the challenges and keep me in a positive vibe. When I buy my next house, I will be seeking Carlie's expertise again. Thanks a bunch, Carlie!!!
