After participating in a home inspection with Fred for my sister, and having him answer some basic questions as we looked to buy a home in the future, I knew he would be excellent to work with. My sister had a positive review from her experience with him, so we reached back out to Fred for an initial conversation. He took the time to come to our home and answer all of our questions, leaving us with an excellent referral for a loan officer. From start to finish, Fred's personal touch and expertise were critical to the process of buying our first home, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the ease of the transaction! Fred is timely with responses, and was always sure to answer every question/concern with confident expertise. Fred, literally, checks every box! Personable, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable - he's everything we needed in a realtor, and we ended up with a great property at a great price! We thought we'd need to purchase a "starter home" for our first home purchase, but Fred's guidance and expertise landed us in the dream home we'd always wanted!

My wife and I were in the process with another agent and loan officer but it wasn't working out and we found ourselves doing a lot of the leg work. That was when I got in touch with Fred Marcellus and he pointed me in the right direction with a great loan officer. Everything went so smooth working with Fred. He really did a great job in listening to what we wanted in our first home. He walked us through the process so well that at closing my wife and I did not have any worries at all. We both felt that he was really looking out for us throughout the process. Fred was very on top of things if something came up. He was great at replying back to emails or phone calls to answer any questions we might have. The team at Guaranteed rates really took the time to talk us through everything. Just like Fred that were really on top of everything going through the process which made it a very smooth process buying our first home.
