We had never sold a home before and gave our trust to Kristin based solely on her outstanding Angie's list reviews and our initial interview with her. We followed all of her recomendations and were able to sell our home at a fair price and within a reasonable amount of time. We moved out of the area and Kristin handled everything for us which involved managing contractors fixing up our home including replacing the roof, landscaping, sump pump installation, etc.). Basically we gave her the keys to our house, moved to New Mexico and she sold our home for us including going to closing! (all we had to do was sign some online forms). I can't imagine how the service Kristin provided could have been any better and would definitely recommend her to anyone living in the Woodbridge/Dumfries area.

Kristin Burns is an incredible agent. Her thoroughness, communication, and personal attention are impressive. Our home was listed with a different agent for six months and we had hardly any interest. We had zero offers in those six months. It was a bit stressing since we were relocating and trying to buy in our new location. We wish we would have found Kristin from the beginning. She will tailor an analysis of your market area, your local competition and your home. Then she'll work with you to build a strategy that meets your personal expectations (she even took the time to walk through ten of the competitor properties). She's honest and straightforward, but always polite and professional. She'll walk you through options to show off the high points of your property and downplay any potential trouble spots. Once Kristin put us back on the market we were under contract in four days with an offer above our asking price. Once we were under contract we really appreciated her ability to lay out expectations and milestones and also help us think through actions that might be needed if things don't follow exactly as planned. She was a skilled negotiator and delivered excellent results for us at every point of interaction with the buyer's agent. She has amazing attention to detail and will try her best to provide a worry-free experience from beginning to end!

I was very pleased with Kristins ability to keep everything organized and to provide a plan when it came to overcoming obsticles such as repairs and negotiations. She always kept me informed, rarely ever needed to call her. She would contact me first. Kristin made selling my house as stress free as a stressful situation gets. There are times I felt frustrated, but Kristin always settled me down with positive reassurance. Kristin was always there when I needed her and would meet me close to my home if needed. I live around 30 miles north of her in a heavy traffic area, so that was pretty awesome.
