As a first-time home buyer, I didn't know what to expect-for anything; let alone the sort of relationship I'd want to have with my agent. Before deciding to relocate to Des Moines, I worked with one agent in the Iowa City area. Several times, this agent left me confused and feeling like maybe I wasn't adequately prepared for the home-buying process. I was more concerned about the needs of that agent and they were with mine. The very first phone call I had with Laura, however, was entirely different. She made the point that she was there to work with me if I felt like we would be a good team, and indeed I thought we would be. I was listened to, my needs were met (often above and beyond), and Laura was both timely and receptive. My dad, who also helped guide me through the process, said to me, "I wish we had Laura when we were buying our houses." She made closing on my first house all the more exciting. Even after the closing process, she's been a great support, working out any remaining kinks. I love my home and plan to be here for a while, but I know that if I have the opportunity to work with an agent again, Laura will be the first person I call.

Laura sat down with us, learned about our situation and needs/desires, and helped us come up with a plan to meet that rather than just doing a cookie-cutter approach. Her personal touch to helping us specifically makes her an invaluable asset when it comes to home sales. She was always available for text or call for any questions, concerns, suggestions we had. Everything she did was to make our experience as smooth and easy as possible. Words truly cannot describe how great she was for helping us sell and I would use her again in a heartbeat if given the chance.
