I had an excellent experience working with Lisa Mills on a house sale in Laguna Woods. I inherited the house from my mom, and I'd never lived in the community, so I was unfamiliar with all its byzantine rules and regulations. I needed a knowledgeable, experienced real estate agent who could help me sell the house from 1,000 miles away, and one of my mom's neighbors highly recommended Lisa. I interviewed a lot of other agents, but Lisa's professionalism shone through from our first phone conversation. Lisa Mills was everything I wanted in an agent: smart, articulate, very aware of the market and the community. She was terrific as a real estate agent--great at marketing the house, handling prospective buyers, and doing negotiations--but she also was a huge help on other things, like arranging an estate sale, rental of a dumpster, and all those mysterious interactions with Laguna Woods. When I first interviewed Lisa and expressed my concerns about selling a house from so far away, she reassured me she would be able to handle everything on my behalf so I wouldn't have to worry--and she was true to her word. I felt well represented every step of the way. Lisa always kept me apprised of everything going on with the house; her responses to my calls, emails, or texts were always prompt, clear, and well-considered. And I enjoyed our conversations so much that I'm sorry the sale is over! I'd never bought or sold a house before, so this could have been an intimidating experience.
