I was born and raised in Maine where I spent 52 years building a wonderful family and multi-location retail jewelry business. After decades of shoveling snow, snow blowing and very cold winters, my wife and I had lost our love of winter. Both of our daughters had left the nest so 8 years ago we found Citrus County, essentially Maine without the Cold and Snow and moved to Pine Ridge Estates in Beverly Hills. After running the retail chain from long distance with many airline miles to Maine, I ultimately decided it was time to change careers. With a BS in Accounting and Finance and an extensive background in Sales, marketing, sales training and management it was obvious that Real estate was a perfect fit. Having a love of people and knowing the value of always putting the client first I decided that J.W. Morton Real Estate, Inc was the right firm to work with. No communication breakdowns occurred on Nicks watch. Nick has extensive prior business experience, a great deal of experience. I selected him based upon knowledge gleaned from the internet regarding Century 21 Morton R. E. and Nick Kleftis. During our somewhat difficult transaction Nick had insight and told us his opinion even when it was NOT what we wanted to hear but it was the truth and his degree of insight and cunning is uncanny. He was simply never wrong when I put him on the spot for that opinion. He has a level of business and real estate knowledge far above his coworkers. If it wasn't for his guidance and foresight I'm not sure we would have closed this deal on the property we wanted. At a critical moment with literally minutes to spare Nick advised us what we needed to do immediately and we did it. That one decision of his got us closed on time.
