I have been a Realtor with CENTURY 21 Langos & Christian since 1989 and I enjoy my job as a real estate consultant as much today as when I started selling real estate over 20 years ago. I am very committed to giving back to the communities that I serve. I am a trustee for the Des Plaines Community Foundation. We provide the Neighbors helping Neighbors Program. I also support the local PADS program for Des Plaines and Mount Prospect communities. I work with 1st time Home Buyers, short sales and foreclosures. I also specialize in the senior citizen community. I have a designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist. I've enjoyed being a Real Estate Consultant for over 20 years! My success in real estate is attributed to experience, professionalism, and commitment to service in an area in which I enjoy living. Helping individuals find the right property is one of my strongest values. I have extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and our local marketplace. I take pride in my attention to detail and put all my efforts into understanding your needs. Seller reviewOur experience with Jan couldn't have been better in selling my mom's 58 year old house. We contacted Jan a year before actually listing the house. She was understanding of our circumstances. She listened and provided her professional knowledge. I felt she was honest, compassionate, knew the area and was patient with the time we needed. When we prepared and then listed the house, she was supportive and made everything go smoothly. Jan was always responsive in communicating, and we benefitted from her guidance. I felt she was going to do her best in my mom's best interest, and we had a quick and successful sale. It was a pleasure to work with Jan!

Seller reviewThis was the second time we have used Jan in the last few years to help with the sale of two homes. The first home was in her neighborhood and was my Mothers house. Jan new the market and gave my brothers and I clear directions on what we should and shouldn't do to the home to get ready for sale. I think we sold it in two weeks or so. The second home belonged to my Son and was in my neighborhood some 20 miles from where the first house was. Jan was not too familiar with the town of Sleepy Hollow but we got the same expert advice on what to do and not do and we got an offer in about a week. Jan reviewed the offer and advised us not to accept it because of some issues she pointed out and said a better one would come along. Then within a few days we got the offer that sold the home for us. We couldn't be happier than we are with Jan and I would use her again and also recommend her to others.
