I have been a Realtor with CENTURY 21 Langos & Christian since 1989 and I enjoy my job as a real estate consultant as much today as when I started selling real estate over 20 years ago. I am very committed to giving back to the communities that I serve. I am a trustee for the Des Plaines Community Foundation. We provide the Neighbors helping Neighbors Program. I also support the local PADS program for Des Plaines and Mount Prospect communities. I work with 1st time Home Buyers, short sales and foreclosures. I also specialize in the senior citizen community. I have a designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist. I've enjoyed being a Real Estate Consultant for over 20 years! My success in real estate is attributed to experience, professionalism, and commitment to service in an area in which I enjoy living. Helping individuals find the right property is one of my strongest values. I have extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and our local marketplace. I take pride in my attention to detail and put all my efforts into understanding your needs. Seller reviewJan knows the people and the area very well, and with her knowledge, she was able to make intelligent suggestions regarding the best strategies of how to present and sell our home. Jan was always straight-forward, honest and professional with us regarding every aspect of selling our home. Whenever we had a question or concern, Jan would either answer her cell phone immediately or respond to us in a very timely manner, which always assured us and calmed our anxieties regarding the sell of our home. Seller reviewJan handled the sale of my mother's condo like a professional. She was always courteous to anyone looking at the condo and would give us feedback on how the condo was showing. We appreciated her honesty during this process. Jan was very knowledgeable about our condo and other homes/condo's in the area that were for sale. She helped us price the condo at a reasonable price and had a lot of people come through to see it. She is a true professional, very polite and understanding. Jan was always helpful and answered any questions that my wife and I had. No matter how busy Jan was, she always managed to find time to spend with us addressing our needs and concerns. I would highly recommend Jan to any of my family and friends if they are looking to buy or sell a home.

The first time we met Jan advised my brothers and I on what she thought we "should do" and what "not to do" to the house to get it ready to sell. We followed her instructions and were actually able to get what we think was an additional $15,000 for the house with mostly sweat equity. The sales information of other homes in the area was also very helpful. The photos of the house were great and the information about people looking at the house was timely.
